About the client
Our client provides platform technology for the online gaming and lottery industry, serving enterprise customers who operate their own branded storefronts.
The challenge
Launching a new gaming storefront traditionally takes months: every operator wants its own brand, layout and features, but rebuilding the same commerce foundation for each of them wastes engineering time and delays revenue. The client wanted a headless approach, one core platform that partners can skin, extend and ship in weeks.
What we built
Shopfront is a long-term greenfield project we develop from scratch: a set of custom SDKs on top of a headless commerce core:
- SDKs that let business partners set up their own shops quickly, extend core functionality, or build entirely new UI components.
- A storefront experience covering games, results, orders and player accounts.
- A component architecture designed for white-labelling, so each operator's storefront looks and behaves like its own product.
How we worked
We are responsible for the entire application, built with a test-driven development approach. Quality gates enforce ratings for reliability, security and maintainability on both overall and new code, which keeps the SDK dependable for the partners building on top of it.
The outcome
Enterprise customers can launch their platforms in weeks instead of months and start earning revenue sooner. The SDK continues to grow with new components and integrations, and the engagement is ongoing.
